That’s right folks, in 2019 two metal bands are potentially going to be banned from Singapore due to their satanic nature!

It has been reported that Swedish Black Metal Band Watain have had to cancel their show in Singapore following a petition asking the government to ban all satanic metal bands from the country.

The petition, started by Rachel Chan has urged the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth to take action.

Chan Says, “These heavy metal bands do not represent the culture which we want in our youths. Their subliminal messages in their songs include death and suicide. Sign this petition to get our lawmakers to ban these bands from performing in Singapore.”

The petition has reached over 16K signatures.

“I have sent the link of this petition to ban the Satanic bands from performing in Singapore, to Minister Grace Fu (MCCY). Let's pray that our leaders will take the stand against these negative influences seriously.” Says Chan.

Watain have yet to make an official statement regarding the issue.

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has cancelled the Watain Live Show In Singapore concert on Thursday (March 7), following concerns raised by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
