“I am unquestionably, undoubtedly the greatest human artist of all time...it’s just a fact” - Kanye West

What little respect we had left for Kanye West is certainly being flushed down the toilet today in what can only be described as the most arrogant statement anyone has ever made in the entire history of the human race.

There’s times where I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album
- Kanye West

You can confirm this quote at minute 26 of the interview.

In a new interview with Zane Lowe, Kanye West has declared himself the greatest living “human” artist of all time. We’re not sure if he’s competing with local wildlife for this title, or if he now finally just identifies as a human being after realising he’s not actually god. Not only does this interview demonstrate Kanye’s complete lack of understanding when it comes to musical talent, but it’s also a fine example of what can happen to someone that has never been told their ideas aren’t actually as good as they think they are. He’s literally just Donald Trump as a rapper.

Kanye West and Zane lowe meet up at his home studio in the rocky regions of Wyoming, America. “Why did you chose this place, Wyoming,” Asks Zane Lowe. “I just been looking to get a place here and I was looking for a multi-thousand-acre property” Kanye responds. Kanye then immediately starts to question if he should change his fleece to match the “yeezy” pallet of his surroundings. No, you read that right. We’re just as confused as you are about what the hell he’s talking about. “When we first got to the ranch I was expecting something really green cus that’s what I was used to so I didn’t like it when I first got here”. Yeah, we’re still confused as well. “Wow, these are actually the Yeezy tones right here...it actually is the...the palette...now that I’m thinking about that, that makes me kinda wanna put the other jacket back on…people wear fleece more when it’s more of a...future...idea”.

This all takes place in the first 2 minutes of a 1 hour and 54-minute long interview with Zane Lowe. Kanye has made some very strange statements over the years and has a habit of infuriating large sections of society with utterly ridiculous statements, but this is probably Kanye at his peak of arrogance. It’s the very same type of arrogant, delusional and disconnected self-image that Donald Trump seems to embrace. Both make statements regarding their greatness with very little to back it up other than their own accepted opinion of themselves. Just because you’ve sold millions of records does not make you a talented artist or musician. Human or otherwise.

Now comes the point where Kanye says God is using him to create his music. “I have some visions but the more that I’m in service to god I just clear my head and just wake up more empty every day and let God do the driving and just use me as he may so you make plans and God laughs so if I told you the plans...I could tell you what would happen six months from now and 20 years from now...so we’re building farms,” explains Kanye to an increasingly confused Zane Lowe. Kanye then seems to tell Zane that he intends to grow his own cotton and make his own clothes, just like Jesus did? He also said that a Playboy magazine he saw when he was 5 years old, that his Dad left out, has affected every choice he’s ever made throughout his entire life. “It just presents itself in the open,” he says. “I stand up and say, it’s not OK”. We think at this point he’s talking directly to the pornographic magazine.

Kanye also says that he was reborn in April of this year, after Coachella. Coachella being the obvious turning point for people to find faith in God as a reborn again Christian. “Go was using me and it lined up amazingly like literally the Sunday was Easter Sunday” Kanye explains. “I remember when the hair dye was placed on my head that morning before Coachella and it hit my head and it felt cold and I didn’t like it” - We think this part of the story is still related to God using him at Coachella - “I remember when the guy was using the dye, I didn’t even like how it came out, it had too much white in it and the tone was like purple and I was like ‘I don’t like this’”. At this point, it’s hard to see how Zane Lowe managed to refrain from just bursting out with laughter. He then starts to talk about injection molding shoes. A natural segway from being used by God to create music.

During the interview, Kanye also says that he will be president of the United States. “There will be a time when I will be President of the United States and I will remember any founder that didn’t have the capacity to understand culturally what we were doing,” says Kanye discussing his Yeezy brand of trainers. “I’ll probably do more interviews when I’m president,” he says at minute 40 of this truly bizarre interview. Kanye says he running for President leading a 2024 campaign. “We’re working on some things right now.”
