It’s been 13 years since the release of Tools last studio album, ‘10,000 Days’ and we know that they’re due to release new material very soon. Tool announced a small run of new tour dates earlier this year taking place in 2019 and now people are speculating that the lucky fans who scored tickets may even get to hear new material by Tool at these dates.

The closest thing we’ve really had to new material by Tool is with Maynard James Keenan’s other project A Perfect Circle, who released their 4th studio album back in 2018, Eat the Elephant. Now, officially artist profiles have been created for the band on Spotify and Apple music which means we can expect their back catalogue to appear soon and the new record will be on their for sure.

I think it’s safe to say we’ll be treated to at least the first single really soon. The tour starts TODAY! So keep your eyes peeled on their social media accounts as I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t get a new song at some point today or at least next week.

Tool’s singer Maynard even posted a comical picture on his twitter on account on 1st May saying:

‘Feeling cute, might play some new material on this upcoming tour, IDK’

Another interesting aspect of this tweet is the hash tags, #Riot Gear Retired and #While you were whining, we were working, so Keenan is obviously well aware fans have been complaining about waiting for new tool material. It’ll be interesting to see what new outfit Keenan is going to sport for the new tour.
