In 2018, Steel Panther released their now infamous first guitar pedal called ‘The Pussy Melter’ and as you can guess, the political correctness police came out in force to accuse the band of being sexist and derogatory towards women. However, if you’ve ever listened to even one of their songs then this type of behaviour should come as no surprise to you. It’s all supposed to be very tongue in asscheek comedy, they don’t actually think women are simply alive to please men.

A description on TC Electronic’s website, the company that were set to release The Pussy Melter, said: “When we met up with Steel Panther’s oh-so-humble guitarist, he had only one condition: that the tone be as wet as the ladies on the front row.” It added: “So if glam rock guitar solos and wet floor signs are your idea of a good time, then ‘Pussy Melter’ for Flashback Delay is definitely the TonePrint for you!”

It’s Hot! It’s Spicy! It’s sexy and feisty!!!

The band said: “As clearly stated by Satchel when it was originally developed, the sound being created by the Pussy Melter tone pack was intended to bring pleasure to females who heard it. Steel Panther is happy to announce that we are now offering pleasurable eargasms to everyone.”

Steel Panther decided to push on with the release of the pedal, much to the disappointment to those without a sense of humour, and as expected the pedal sold out faster than you could imagine.

Now, Steel Panther are back with a brand new pedal called, ‘The Butthole Burner’. Heavily based on the previous pedal, the new pedal comes complete with chili dicks and 4 distortion settings. “It’s Hot! It’s Spicy! It’s sexy and feisty!!! Ladies and gentlemen, Steel Panther presents The Butthole Burner. It’s a new version of the perfect distortion pedal.” reads the official description. Several of the pedals will come with a package of actual dick pepper seeds and a gift card for $50 in this store. This pedal will be limited to one production run and all will come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
