Architects Holy Ghost
Quickly becoming one the most successful metal bands of recent times, Architects are set to release their 8th studio album, ‘Holy Hell’ on November 9th. Today they released a little surprise into the world, a mini feature film documenting the bands progress up to their sell out show at Alexandra Palace in London, UK, an insight into the new album, and how the band are still dealing with the loss of their founding member, Tom.
It’s an in depth, and at times, heartbreaking look into the world of Architects and how they perceive the world around them. Architects have something very special that many modern bands are void of, an intensely deep relationship with their fans, and this short feature film shows exactly that.
“That’s just the nature of it,” he says, pushing an empty coffee cup around the table in front of him. “You feel okay one day, and not the next. You know, one of the first things that hit me in the wake of my brother’s death is that everyone has to go through this feeling. You don’t know who is walking next to you in the street that has just lost someone. I don’t go walking around in tears, but I’m struggling. And no-one really knows how to deal with or cope with grief. People say that there’s no right or wrong way, but I suppose they tell you that to make you feel better. But definitely, the only right way is not to pretend that you’re okay. You can’t just cover grief up. At some point, you have to suffer.” - Dan Searle ( Kerrang!)
