Although Michael Jackson, The King Of Pop, passed away on 25 June 2009, almost ten years ago, his legacy as one of the greatest entertainers of all time still burns strong to this very day. However, others claim that he left behind another legacy, a dark legacy. One of child abuse, lies, and cover-ups.

During his lifetime, Jackson faced many accusations of child abuse and was even taken to court over allegations that he molested Gavin Arvizo, a 13-year-old boy. The trial took place between 2004–2005 and Jackson was found not guilty on all 14 counts. However, this was the beginning of many battles Michael would face over his lifetime.

Now, the HBO documentary, ‘Leaving Neverland’ has brought into light Michael Jackson's darker legacy of alleged child abuse yet again.

Wade Robson, who appears in the new documentary tells his side of the story. He says Michael Jackson committed sexual acts on him for many years and was forced to keep it a secret.

Wade said “He [Michael] told me, if they ever found out what we were doing, he and I would go to jail for the rest of our lives”

Brandi Jackson, daughter of Jackie Jackson (Founding member of The Jackson 5), has taken to social media branding Wade Robson a liar. Implying that Wade told a manipulated version of his story in order to make Michael Jackson out to be something he is not.

Brandi said, “Wade and I were together for over 7 years, but I bet that isn’t in his “documentary” because it would ruin his timeline. And did I mention it was my uncle, Michael Jackson, who set us up? Wade is not a victim. #WadeRobsonIsALiar”

Brandi goes on to speak about the impact Wade had on their relationship “When I found out what he was doing behind my back I was done...I knew that he was a liar at this point and I confronted him about it...he cried...was he ever sorry about it? No. Did he ever apologize for the things that he’d done? No. The shit that you’re doing to my uncle...that needs to stop..he was so good to you”

The Jackson Family are now seeking 100 million dollars in damages against HBO.

Wade Robson stated under oath in 2005 Michael Jackson did not molest him.

In 2004, Michael Jackson went on trial as Arvizo, 14-years-old, alleges Jackson masturbated him. During this trial, Wade Robson testifed under oath and stated that Michael Jackson did not molest him. Wade said, "slept at Jackson’s Ranch more than 20 times and was never abused" (
