Music Journalism is not an easy skill. However, with the right attitude, and guidance, we can help you on your journey to becoming a paid music journalist.

We take applications all year round as Music Writers come and go. Many think they have what it takes to become a music journalist, however, most realise they don't quite have the dedication or the eye for a good story.

Do you want to become a Music Journalist to write reviews? That's fine, but we live in an age where people don't need to read about what a record sounds like. You need to find a story between the chords.

We don't focus on album reviews, we focus on news. Whilst music critique is an avenue we frequent, we want more than just your thoughts on the latest Pixies record.

    You'll get to write about the latest upcoming releases from artists around the globe. Pitch features and interview ideas. The chance to interview new and well-established bands and artists. Review live shows and festivals. The chance to progress to higher positions at RawMusicTV.

    Paid Positions


    We will offer paid positions in the future.

    ALL revenue generated by RawMusicTV currently pays for site development, maintenance and promotion. We are an independent publication funded by the founders of RawMusicTV without any private or public funding. We’re not rolling in cash and diamonds, not yet anyway.
