Life on the road as a rock and roll star can be difficult. Although you hear numerous stories of how it’s just parties, drugs, sex, and the good life, being a superstar can take its toll on even the greatest of entertainers. Some burn out, overdose, or just generally lose their shit and go off the rails ending up in jail cells, rehab or worse, dead.

So, how do rock stars keep themselves entertained when they’re the entertainers?

In a recent interview with Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM VOLUME, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie joined the music mogul at The Rainbow Bar and Grill in Los Angeles to talk about the upcoming ‘Twins Of Evil Tour’ they’re about to embark on.

As Rob Zombie tries to recall the first time he saw Marilyn Manson live, Manson pointed out that at the time he was on tour with Korn. He also pointed out that he used to add some special Marilyn Manson ingredients to their food backstage.

I think you guys were opening with Korn, and Danzig...was that a show? I can’t remember
- Says Rob Zombie

Manson then replies:

“Yeah yeah yeah might have been...I’m great friends with Jonathan Davis but I used to piss on their catering...they didn’t really have a lot but I told him that later and he thought it was funny…we’re still good friends” Manson also goes on to talk about his previous music:

“It’s hard to look back at it and think of how songs you done have impacted the world and so there’s a chain of events...I was trying to reminisce on how I started becoming contrary to going to Christian school and I was watching the original Omen the other night when the girl hangs herself and so after this, I’m going to get a 666 tattoo”

So, if you ever meet Marilyn Manson backstage, don’t eat the snacks.

Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson begin the ‘Twins Of Evil Tour’ July 9, 2019, in Baltimore. Visit RobZombie.com for more info.
