Rob Swire announced back in 2010 that a new Pendulum record was in the works, however, almost ten years later and we’re still waiting. After the global success of ‘Immersion’ back in 2010 which featured ‘Watercolour’, ‘Crush’, and ‘The Island’ we naturally assumed that we’d maybe have to wait a year or two, at most for a new studio album.

Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen decided to create ‘Knife Party’ which took the focus away from Pendulum, and also left the future of Pendulum in limbo.

Although Swire has hinted at new material several times over the last few years, nothing solid has ever really come to light, until now.

Pendulum are due to play South West Four, a festival in London, SW4 on Sunday 25 August 2019. Not only will this be their first show outside of Australia for 10 years, they will also be playing brand new material from their new album as stated on the site's schedule.

Pendulum will perform outside of Australia FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TEN YEARS at SW4...ou will get to hear them play brand new Pendulum music from their forthcoming EP series and album
- SW4

As we all know, artists generally drop new material before they go on tour and play festivals to help promote the new release so it looks like we’ll be getting at least a new single or EP before the summer!
