AT THE GATES embark on huge North American and European tour dates

After a successful touring run across Latin America and shows in their native Sweden, Gothenburg-based melodic death metal pioneers AT THE GATES are returning to North America as the special guest on Behemoth's upcoming 'Ecclesia Diabolica' tour, with Wolves In The Throne Room rounding out the bill. This marks the band's first North American tour in support of their new album 'To Drink From the Night Itself'.

Here’s a statement from the band: “As many of our loyal listeners know we have always incorporated different elements into our own breed of death metal, but we have never taken the chance to explore them to the fullest on stage. Being invited to play the prestigious Roadburn Festival gives us exactly that opportunity. We know very well what is expected from a Roadburn performance, and it is just that sort of challenge that makes us tick. We will dive headfirst into the melancholic eclectic darkness of our back catalogue and explore different, challenging collaborations for this special AT THE GATES set. In regards to the North American tour, AT THE GATES vocalist Tomas Lindberg adds: "AT THE GATES have not done a support tour since 1996. When we got invited to this tour, we immediately saw the logic to the package. This is three bands with their own unique sound, three bands totally dedicated to finding the core of their art. Three important bands. It all made sense to us, and we are flattered to be part of this. I truly believe that this is THE ONE tour not to miss this year.
