It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for since Mötley Crüe announced they’re official reunion just a couple of short weeks ago. Although they never officially split as a band, they did sign of cessation of touring agreement saying they would never tour again. Rumours then started to appear on various music sites and forums that a stadium tour with Def Leppard and Poison might be on the cards for 2020, now we know for sure it’s happening.

A few hints that some may have missed regarding the tour being confirmed: sometime over the weekend of November 28th, Poison updated their official website to display a countdown clock with the timer set to expire at 2230 (CET) on Wednesday 4th December, some speculated it could be new music, whilst others also noticed Nikki Sixx posted the words “Tic Töc motherfuckers……” on the same day via his Twitter account, leading many to believe it could only be one thing, tour dates!

The most painful part of the film is my relationship with my mother
- Nikki Sixx

Reports suggest that Mötley Crüe are going to be cashing in $3.25 Million Per Tour Stop For Reunion Tour, although other reports suggest this will be split between all 3 bands, with Mötley Crüe taking the biggest share of the cut. To date, Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums and recently had huge success with their biopic The Dirt which was released on streaming platform Netflix earlier this year. On top of this, the band are also releasing a 30th-anniversary edition of Dr Feelgood that includes picture disk vinyl, Dr Feelgood playing cards, and other goodies. In an interview with Forbes.com, Sixx said about The Dirt: “The most painful part of the film is my relationship with my mother and how I could never mend that,” says Sixx. “There is a scene where she is calling me and I can’t pick up the phone. I’m addicted to drugs but have huge animosity because she abandoned me. Later I went to rehab and I got sober but she passed away and we never reconciled. I regret that. I continue every day trying to be a better man but we could not close that gap.”
