As millions of American’s run through supermarkets and malls telling people to take their masks off and be free, you can’t help but wonder how long this is going to keep going for. Conspiracy theories are running wild with everything from Bill Gates trying to implant tracking chips in everyone, to the illuminati and New World Order imposing a new form of control over us and quite frankly it’s getting really old.

these selfish assholes do not have my permission or blessing to use my song for their moronic cause
- Dee Snider

Dee Snider is the latest in a long line of rockers to speak out against anti-maskers. In a post late last night, Snider, frontman of 80s hair metal band Twisted Sister, said “No...these selfish assholes do not have my permission or blessing to use my song for their moronic cause.” in response to a group of anti-maskers seen running through a supermarket in America telling people to be free and take their masks off whilst blasting out the metal classic, ‘We’re Not Going To Take It’.

“Take off your masks, be free…” the anti-maskers can be heard shouting as they flock through the store. Around ten or so anti-maskers were caught on camera, not following the current guidelines of wearing a mask in public to prevent the spread of a potentially fatal virus.

The Twittersphere largely backed Snider up with comments such as, “Another superspreader event. These fools are going to get everything shut down again. Are anti maskers now the same as anti vaxxers ?” and “I feel for you!! I bartended on the beach last summer in Wildwood NJ and they asked me back this year and I just couldn’t do it sooo many people without masks and I have to wear one in the heat for 8 hours while they paraded around hope it gets better for you!”

It’s a simple theory, wear a mask everywhere for 2 months and the virus goes. Not hard is it?
