Wild At Heart
The club venue was opened back in 1995 by Lea Reisse and Ulrich Reisse-Gross, and quickly become a hotspot for Rock N Roll nightlife, and continues to play a vital role in the European rock scene. However, the venue is now under threat of closure due to the recent pandemic spreading across the continent. “Although we have survived for 25 years as a live music venue from the support of our scene, we have never been able to create enough profit to have reserves for such a crisis as we are in right now.” Grassroots venues such as these need income from the local music scene, and with all public gatherings prohibited across Germany, this is a loss of income that could see the bar facing closure, for good. “We appreciate your support over the years and are desperately fighting to keep this rock ‘n’ roll institution alive! But this closure has brought us to our financial limits.”
The bar needs financial support to help pay for bills, rent, tax, insurance and wages for employees if it has any chance of a future. Wild At Heart needs your help to secure its continued place in Rock N Roll history.
Wild At Heart are currently running a crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising €20,000 to help cover their costs until the bar can reopen, assuming the current restrictions in place across Germany and Europe are lifted soon.
