He’s the Prince of Darkness, but he’s also suffered from some serious health issue over the last couple of years and at 71 he’s lucky to be alive considering everything he’s been through after starting his career back in the mid-60s with Heavy Metal icons Black Sabbath. Ozzy has just released his 12th solo studio record, Ordinary Man in February of this year and said he’s already started to work on a new album.

In an online Reddit Q&A session that took place on February 25th, Ozzy Osbourne opened himself up to fans to discuss anything and everything about Ozzy Osbourne, including what type of socks he wears! “I have a massive selection of crazy socks. I don't like plain socks - no brown. I like to have some crazy shit on there like "fuck off" on the side,” Ozzy said to one fan.

Ozzy also stated that whilst he can’t tour at the moment, he intends to start work on another album, “I am making another album because while I can't tour, I can make music,” he explained. “After I'm doing this doctor's run I'm going right back into the studio to make another album with Andrew Watt. If it comes out anything like 'Ordinary Man' I'll be well pleased.”

“People say they write the best songs when they're unhappy, and I was unhappy last year. I don't have a favourite song from Ordinary Man because I was writing a new song every day!”

Ordinary Man is Ozzy Osbournes first solo record since his 2010 album, Scream.
